- 1 x balloon
- Strips of newspaper
- Glue diluted with water (or flour mixed with water)
- 3 x rounds of masking tape
- 1 x sheet of A3 card
- Acrylic paints
- Paintbrushes
- Black marker or pencil
- Craft or stencil knife
To make the paper mache paste, combine together in a bowl
one part glue to 2 parts water. Alternatively, you can mix
flour and water to the consistency of pancake mixture.
Blow up the balloon (not too tight). Cover with 2 layers of
paper mache by applying the newspaper strips to the surface
of the balloon with a paintbrush dipped in the glue mixture.
