Roll up the card and poke it through the holes you have just made, leaving one end as the vase stem and the other as the stand.

Attach the rolls of masking tape to the bottom and the top of the roll of card with masking tape.

Now cut two lengths of card about 15cm long by 4cm wide. Attach with masking tape to the side of the balloon in the shape of vase handles.
