Paper mache over the shape you have made and leave to dry overnight.

When your vase is completely dry decorate with paints. You can copy traditional Grecian geometric patterns onto your vase.

Alternatively, download and print the characters from the stories in this website* and stick them onto your vase. Paint around the edges of the cut-outs to complete your vase.
